About Board Book Binding
Board book binding is much different from normal book that is combined by thick card paper
pages.It is normally suitable for children book ,art books or some highscale catalogues .
About the process of board binding
Unlike other books, board books are not ‘bound’ in the traditional binding machines.
Instead, 2-page spreads are printed on parent sheets, then cut, assembled, and mounted
together, one set of pages at a time,Finally do round corners.
We use high quality materials like good papers and good glue.Same time ,we also have our
dry room to control the climate to prevent the board books from warping .Wraping is a very
common problem .But we have our ways to avoild this problem .We have done many board books
and they also passed wrapping test.
Board books typically have a lamination finish or varnish throughout their inside pages
(which is usually for protect the color) . This lamination can be gloss lamination or matt
lamination.Client can choose which they like. Lamination serves to increase the durability
of the overall book.
About the design for board books
Unlike most other binding methods, board book page counts do not have to go in increments
of 4. Because they are assembled by hand instead of via a folding process, they can be in
increments of 2 (both sides of a sheet of paper).
