1. Shallow net deepens

When printing on the machine for the first time, the ink used on the deepened roll can be diluted with diluent, under the premise of constant hue can ensure that there will be no "shallow dot leakage" phenomenon, also known as "dry version" in the printing industry.



2. Dirty version

In the intaglio printing layout design, it should also be noted that if there is a large area of white paving, the white layout along the direction of the scraping plate before and after the best not to design a particularly light black, blue, red and other hanging net, otherwise in printing there will be "white with dirty" phenomenon, also known as "scraping" in the printing industry.



3. Shallow expansion

When one text pattern and another text pattern are completely embedded, the light text pattern should be extended to an appropriate size (generally 0.2mm - 0.4mm), so that it overlapped with the darker text pattern, otherwise it is easy to reveal the background color at the joint in the printing process.

As for how much the lightening is related to the color, if the two colors are opposite, the overlapping part of the black line, affecting the appearance, should be as little as possible to expand.









4. Spot color printing plate setting

Trademarks, light screen overprinting, excessive color, small characters (words below 5), small five stars and other patterns, large area background color, special effects, there are many high purity color, very bright color and some fluorescent color, transparent color, gold, silver and other special colors, must use spot color to print, at this time must also make spot color plate roller to print. Due to coarse particles and other reasons, general pearlescent ink, gold ink and silver ink should not be used to hang shallow screen printing.



5. Color sequence arrangement

General printing from dark to light, and table printing first light after printing dark. The two look different, but in fact the order is exactly the same from the human eye, that is, the first one is dark. For color printing with photos, the three primary colors should be continuously printed, do not include other spot colors, otherwise it is not conducive to the overprinting of the three primary colors and the integration of each layer of ink, and the effect of the printed photos will be poor. The color sequence of plastic gravure printing is generally K, spot 1, spot 2, spot 3, C, M, Y, K.

Special products can be special treatment, gold generally put the first or second color, silver generally put the last color (according to special needs can be put in other places). Spot color (especially large area spot color) is generally placed between black and blue, so that the large area spot color can pass through more printing units, ensure that the ink layer is fully dry, conducive to reducing the residual solvent. Of course, special needs can be placed in other positions, such as some layout in the special background color design has dark lines, so that the special background color must be placed after C (blue), M (red), Y (yellow) color.



6. Sharing of printing plates

In order to save costs, most of the same series of products will have a shared version, which pages can be shared? Generally speaking, to determine whether the plate can be shared, the following factors need to be considered:

When the white plate is shared, consider whether the shape of the hollow place is the same, and whether the bag making spot is paved with white, etc.

When silver plates are shared, it is necessary to see whether there are small silver words, whether the shape of the border line is consistent, and whether the color sequence of each set of plates is consistent. The common version also requires the same color number, the lower edge of the first color marker block and the lower edge of any spot, the version of the week, the length of the version, the pattern must be consistent.



7. Design principles of vertical and horizontal patterns

Special attention should be paid to not as far as possible in a longitudinal position on the pattern and line is too dense, otherwise the printing position will produce tendons, the pressure is larger and cause the ink to stick, then can be used to moderate hanging method to reduce the thickness of the ink layer. If the art designer does not consider the errors in the process of bag making and cutting, it will make the bag making and cutting encounter difficulties.

The four sides of the composite bag should be designed to be similar color or transparent. If the color contrast between the upper and lower sides of the bag or coil is large, there will be obvious contrast at the plate after longitudinal and horizontal platemaking. Because the cutting of bag making machine, slitter machine and automatic packaging machine can not be absolutely accurate, generally there is a deviation of + 1mm or more, so the produced bag or slitter film will have a sharply contrasting line at the cutting place, thus affecting the appearance.

For high strength composite bag and cooking bag, in order to improve the strength and protect the ink layer, it is recommended that the composite bag around the color. For a large area of background color, in the absence of transparent edge design, plate making process must consider after the two sides of the width of 1mm-2mm. In this way, in the process of cutting and bag making, even if there is deviation, there will be no transparent edge or aluminum foil, aluminum plated edge.
